GET IT:
Tell your barber or stylist you want to look like Mick Jagger circa 1968. This could make an older barber a little nervous — Mick and co almost put him out of business back then. What matters here is that the hair is layered to encourage wave and texture, but not over-layered, which makes the hair look thin. Scissor and razor cutting is the trick.
BUILD IT:
Getting that (symphony for the) devil may care look actually takes a bit of effort.
Use Reuzel Grooming Cream if you have naturally wavy hair, or Reuzel Matte Styling Paste if your hair is straighter. Both go into towel-dried hair.
Let the hair dry naturally, squeezing the lengths occasionally to encourage texture. Be careful not to pull the hair or run your fingers through the lengths. Once it's dry, add a little more paste or cream to strengthen and exaggerate the texture.
